Social housing - via Abbi Pazienza

The project involves the construction of Social Housing within a historical building located in the heart of the town. Following a historical analysis, the planimetric and spatial articulation of the internal environments, of essays and reliefs of the internal and external decorative apparatuses, the project envisaged the recovery of the building with the aim of safeguarding and highlighting the particular spatial and structural characteristics . Inside the historical container recovered and enhanced in its volumetric characters by a uniform color treatment, new architectural elements have been added, generating new internal spatiality. These micro-architectures, characterized by a strong chromatic contrast with the container that hold them, are presented as sculptural elements that recive new spaces of life and that penetrate inside the large pre-existing spaces, creating new and unexpected interior landscapes.
